We worship together outdoors AND online.
We are blessed to serve you!

January 10, 2021
Well, this week didn't really go as we had hoped.
We had three people from our church test positive for COVID-19.
Of the three people that tested positive, one is in the recovery mode and doing much better.
The other two were asymptomatic. So praise God for the one recovering and the two that didn't
have any symptoms.
Therefor to keep everyone safe, we will not meet in person either indoors or outdoors,
but we have prepared this online worship page for you that has some songs, prayer requests, the
Adult Bible Study, the Children's Sunday School Lesson and finally the message that Pastor Harvey
recorded in isolation in his office.
We will let you know when we will be meeting in person again. (Probably in 3 weeks, so we won't meet again next Sunday, January 17, 2021. We just want to be responsible and keep everyone as
safe as possible.
We DO prefer worshiping and praying in person, but it's important at this time to be on-line only.
We'd like to pray for you.
Give us a call or email Pastor Harvey at harvey.hpcc@gmail.com to request prayer.
Ongoing (as of January 10, 2021)
COVID-19 Protocols in Our Church
NO IN PERSON WORSHIP THIS SUNDAY.
No, we are not meeting in person. But when we get back to meeting in person,
we will be outside with masks and socially distanced, of courese.
Here are some photos of what our outdoor worship area
looks like before the folks show up, when we CAN worship in person.

This weekend we have prepared a worship page for you that includes...
Thursday Night's Bible Study PowerPoint AND the Zoom meeting recording.
The topic was "Repenting Brings Rejoicing" from Luke 15:11-24.
The Children's Sunday School Lesson from Mrs. Denise...
All about John the Baptist and how he told the people to do what is good.
We have great YouTube versions of Christian Hymns and contemporary songs.
Finally, Pastor Harvey finishes the 5th chapter of John in our continuing examination of the Gospel of John.
We examine John 5:33-47 and have a message about the Four Testimonies to Who Jesus was/is.
We hope this continues to bless YOU and draws you closer to God.
Remember, Denise and I are a phone call away if you want to pray together or just chat.
(Also remember that God is NOT far away, He has promised that He would never leave us - can I get an "Amen"!)
And don't forget you can comment below about anything that we can help you with or send us a Facebook message on the Facebook message app.
You can also use the "comments below to start any conversation with us.
Thanks for all of your support!

WE are back studying the parables of Jesus and this one is a beauty!
The parable of The Prodigal Son (or as Pastor Harvey calls it, The Prodigal Father) from Luke 15:11-24
Take a peek at our Mid-Week Bible Study to see what God's Word says about that and our discussion.
We love you, and would LOVE for you to join us next week at Bible study.
Remember, if you missed our meeting, you can view it below AND please sign up below to get updates and
notices of the next meeting. See you on Zoom!
If you are NOT part of our on-line Thursday Night Bible Study, you can take care of that now.
Two easy ways to join. Each week we will send the ZOOM link via text and email.
Church Prayer Requests January 10, 2021
Let's all agree that we need to pray for America and our leaders.
Georgia - Uncle Rudy and family. The pains that she is having, her school work and is having a hard time sleeping.
Harvey - Harvey's mother Barbara is in the hospital with intestinal problems. Doctors are going to do a
non-invasive treatment to help. Also she tested positive for COVID-19, but that is not why she is in the hospital.
Ray - His wife's daughter Felicia, her boyfriend Victor and the 3 year old granddaughter all tested positive for COVID-19. Mary, Ray's wife has not been felling well. Please pray for all.
Denise - Marilyn's brother Jim, we have no new update yet, so keep praying for him.
And Now It's Time to Worship Christ
Your are My Anchor
Artist: David Wesley Virtual Choir - Awesome!
"You Are My Anchor" is based on Psalm 27, which is quite the encouraging read if you know God as your father. This virtual choir version was brought to life by 150 singers and ASL interpreters from 37 countries. They had only 7 days to learn, record, and upload their performance (and I had less than 2 weeks to edit everything together). This is the first of three smaller ("pop-up") projects to finish off 2020. Instrumental accompaniment provided by me - just a simple arrangement representing how I might lead this song with a congregation.

Inspired by David Wesley's Virtual Choir Song up above here is...
Psalm 27
1 The Lord is my light and my salvation;
Whom should I fear?
The Lord is the defense of my life;
Whom should I dread?
2 When evildoers came upon me to devour my flesh,
My adversaries and my enemies, they stumbled and fell.
3 If an army encamps against me,
My heart will not fear;
If war arises against me,
In spite of this I am confident.
4 One thing I have asked from the Lord, that I shall seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life,
To behold the beauty of the Lord
And to meditate in His temple.
5 For on the day of trouble He will conceal me in His tabernacle;
He will hide me in the secret place of His tent;
He will lift me up on a rock.
6 And now my head will be lifted up above my enemies around me,
And I will offer sacrifices in His tent with shouts of joy;
I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord.
7 Hear, Lord, when I cry with my voice,
And be gracious to me and answer me.
8 When You said, “Seek My face,” my heart said to You,
“I shall seek Your face, Lord.”
9 Do not hide Your face from me,
Do not turn Your servant away in anger;
You have been my help;
Do not abandon me nor forsake me,
God of my salvation!
10 For my father and my mother have forsaken me,
But the Lord will take me up.
11 Teach me Your way, Lord,
And lead me on a level path
Because of my enemies.
12 Do not turn me over to the desire of my enemies,
For false witnesses have risen against me,
And the violent witness.
13 I certainly believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord
In the land of the living.
14 Wait for the Lord;
Be strong and let your heart take courage;
Yes, wait for the Lord.
