Jesus Walks on the Water and Saves Peter
25 And in the fourth watch of the night He came to them, walking on the sea.
26 When the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were terrified, and said, “It is a ghost!” And they cried out in fear.
27 But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, “Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid.”
28 Peter responded and said to Him, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.”
29 And He said, “Come!” And Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water, and came toward Jesus.
30 But seeing the wind, he became frightened, and when he began to sink, he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!”
31 Immediately Jesus reached out with His hand and took hold of him, and said to him, “You of little faith, why did you doubt?”

Below is the bible text that we used in the sermon today.
ANCHOR-PART 1-HOPE
Hebrews 6:19
“This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and reliable…”
Hebrews 6:13-18
13 For when God made the promise to Abraham, since He could swear an oath by no one greater, He swore by Himself,
14 saying, “indeed I will greatly bless you and I will greatly multiply you.”
15 And so, having patiently waited, he obtained the promise.
16 For people swear an oath by one greater than themselves, and with them an oath serving as confirmation is an end of every dispute.
17 In the same way God, desiring even more to demonstrate to the heirs of the promise the fact that His purpose is unchangeable, confirmed it with an oath,
18 so that by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have taken refuge would have strong encouragement to hold firmly to the hope set before us.
Hebrews 13:8 NASB
8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today, and forever.
Matthew 14:25-31 NASB
25 And in the fourth watch of the night He came to them, walking on the sea.
26 When the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were terrified, and said, “It is a ghost!” And they cried out in fear.

28 Peter responded and said to Him, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.”
