We worship together outdoors AND online.
We are blessed to serve you!

February 21, 2021

We are back in the Gospel of John as Jesus speaks and presents Himself as Messiah at the Feast of Booths.
Another BEAUTIFUL day in So Cal to worship the Lord outdoors.  Hope you can join us next weekend as we continue in the Gospel of John.  Until then, be blessed with today's worship page.

We know some folks are still cautious about meeting in person and prefer to worship the Lord in the safety of their homes.   This is why we prepare these online worship pages for you.

If you would like prayer for yourself, family, etc., either place it the comments below or if you want to keep it private, send us a Facebook message and ONLY the 2 admins at Highland Park Christian Church will see the request and then share the request as an "unspoken" request for all to pray over.

We will continue to keep uploading the sermon and providing the YouTube versions of the songs that we sang during worship. Even if you cannot join us, we'd still like to pray for you.

Give us a call or email Pastor Harvey at harvey.hpcc@gmail.com to request prayer.

UPDATE  - Please comment down below and we will respond.  Let us know how we can help and if we have blessed you with this on-line worship.  Thanks!

Ongoing (as of February 21, 2021)
COVID-19 Protocols in Our Church

Yes!  We are still meeting outside.
(4900 North Figueroa St., Los Angeles, CA 9004 - Just behind the big white house)
Here are some photos of what our outdoor worship area
looks like before the folks show up.
We hope to see YOU in one of these social distanced chairs with us soon!

This weekend we have prepared a worship page for you that includes...
Thursday Night's Bible Study PowerPoint AND the Zoom meeting recording.

The topic was Anticipating Christ's Return - Matthew 25:1-15
It was the parable the Ten Virgins.

The Children's Sunday School Lesson from Mrs. Denise...
Mrs. Denise prays and sings with the children (online, of course) then tells the story of
Jesus seeking out Zacchaeus and loving and forgiving him.

We have great YouTube versions of Christian Hymns and contemporary songs that we sang today...

Finally, Pastor Harvey took us back to the Gospel of John and we listened to Jesus at the Feast of Booths and His declaration as Israel's Messiah.

We hope this continues to bless YOU and draws you closer to God.

Remember, Denise and I are a phone call away if you want to pray together or just chat.
(Also remember that God is NOT far away, He has promised that He would never leave us - can I get an "Amen"!)

And don't forget you can comment below about anything that we can help you with or send us a Facebook message on the Facebook message app.

You can also use the "comments below to start any conversation with us.

Thanks for all of your support!
For Him and His Kingdom,
Pastors Harvey & Denise

Springs of Living Water
Artist: Heritage Singers

After singing a few songs, then as a congregation we read together aloud the following scripture...

Revelation 21:1-6 (New American Standard Bible)

1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea.

2 And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is among the people, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them,

4 And He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.”

5 And He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” And He said, “Write, for these words are faithful and true.”

6 Then He said to me, “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give water to the one who thirsts from the spring of the water of life, without cost.

Today we continued in the Gospel of John, John 7:25-53 - Jesus presents Himself as the source of living water at the Feast of Booths.
