We worship together outdoors AND online.
We are blessed to serve you!

April 11, 2021
A crazy night last night!
We worshipped outdoors today, but NOT because of COVID-19.
One of our palm trees next to the church caught fire late last night. Although there was minimal structural damage and no personal injuries, the inside of our church building filled with smoke and there is the lingering odor of smoke throughout the sanctuary. (It's actually pretty overpowering). We determined that it would cause breathing problems and possibly headaches. So we met outdoors.
Maybe God was preparing us for this eventuality as we set up for outdoor church services during the last year. So we were outdoors again today!
We went back to where we left off in the Gospel of John to John 10:22-42, when Jesus declares His deity to Jewish religious leaders during Hanukkah.
As always we have this weeks prayer requests listed below too.
Let us pray for you. Just send an email to us and we will add you to our online prayer list.
We know some folks are still cautious about meeting in person and prefer to worship the Lord in the safety of their homes. This is why we prepare these online worship pages for you.

We will continue to keep uploading the sermon and providing the YouTube versions of the songs that we sang during worship. Even if you cannot join us, we'd still like to pray for you.
Give us a call or email Pastor Harvey at harvey.hpcc@gmail.com to request prayer or just chat/connect.
UPDATE - Please comment down below and we will respond. Let us know how we can help and if we have blessed you with this on-line worship. Thanks!
This weekend we have prepared a worship page for you that includes...
Thursday Night's Bible Study PowerPoint AND the Zoom meeting recording.
We continue in our Spring Bible Study - "Lessons from the Life of Paul"
The topic was The Effects of God's Word - Acts 17:1-14
Paul and Silas continue to spread the Good News of the Gospel to the Gentiles in Thessalonica and Berea.
(Sunday School on Thursday Nights).
The Children's Sunday School Lesson from Mrs. Denise...
Mrs. Denise prays and sings with the children (online, of course) then tells the story of two disciples that traveled to Emmaus and meet a stranger on the way!
We have great YouTube versions of Christian Hymns and contemporary songs that we sang today...
Pastor Harvey took us back to the Gospel of John and we returned to John 10:22-42, when Jesus declares His deity to the Jewish leaders.
We hope this continues to bless YOU and draws you closer to God.
Remember, Denise and I are a phone call away if you want to pray together or just chat.
(Also remember that God is NOT far away, He has promised that He would never leave us - can I get an "Amen"!)
And don't forget you can comment below about anything that we can help you with or send us a Facebook message on the Facebook message app.
You can also use the "comments below to start any conversation with us.
Thanks for all of your support!
For Him and His Kingdom,
Pastors Harvey & Denise

Colossians 1:13-20 NASB
The Coming of Christ
Colossians 1:13-20
13 For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son,
14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation:
16 for by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones, or dominions, or rulers, or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him.
17 He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.
18 He is also the head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything.
19 For it was the Father’s good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him,
20 and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.
