We worship together outdoors AND online.
We are blessed to serve you!

April 18, 2021
Praise God!
The smoky smell has left the church from the fire last Saturday.
We were able to meet indoors today, so we did!
We went back to where we left off in the Gospel of John to John 11:1-57, when Jesus raises Lazarus from the dead in front of many witnesses.
As always we have this weeks prayer requests listed below also.
Let us pray for you. Just send an email to us and we will add you to our online prayer list.
We know some folks are still cautious about meeting in person and prefer to worship the Lord in the safety of their homes. This is why we prepare these online worship pages for you.
We will continue to keep uploading the sermon and providing the YouTube versions of the songs that we sang during worship. Even if you cannot join us, we'd still like to pray for you.
Give us a call or email Pastor Harvey at harvey.hpcc@gmail.com to request prayer or just chat/connect.
UPDATE - Please comment down below and we will respond. Let us know how we can help and if we have blessed you with this on-line worship. Thanks!
This weekend we have prepared a worship page for you that includes...
Thursday Night's Bible Study PowerPoint AND the Zoom meeting recording.
We continue in our Spring Bible Study - "Lessons from the Life of Paul"
The topic was The One True God - Acts 17:22-34
Paul gives his apologetic argument for the one true God on Mars Hill in Greece.
(Sunday School on Thursday Nights).
The Children's Sunday School Lesson from Mrs. Denise...
Mrs. Denise prays and sings with the children (online, of course) then tells the story of a rich man who asks Jesus a very important question.
We have great YouTube versions of Christian Hymns and contemporary songs that we sang today...
Pastor Harvey took us back to the Gospel of John and we returned to John 11:1-57, when Jesus raises Lazarus up from the dead.
We hope this continues to bless YOU and draws you closer to God.
Remember, Denise and I are a phone call away if you want to pray together or just chat.
(Also remember that God is NOT far away, He has promised that He would never leave us - can I get an "Amen"!)
And don't forget you can comment below about anything that we can help you with or send us a Facebook message on the Facebook message app.
You can also use the "comments below to start any conversation with us.
Thanks for all of your support!

After singing a few songs, then as a congregation we read together aloud the following scripture...
Luke 7:11-17
The Widow of Nain
Luke 7:11-17
11 Soon afterward Jesus went to a city called Nain; and His disciples were going along with Him, accompanied by a large crowd.
12 Now as He approached the gate of the city, a dead man was being carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow; and a sizeable crowd from the city was with her.
13 When the Lord saw her, He felt compassion for her and said to her, “Do not go on weeping.”
14 And He came up and touched the coffin; and the bearers came to a halt. And He said, “Young man, I say to you, arise!”
15 And the dead man sat up and began to speak. And Jesus gave him back to his mother.
16 Fear gripped them all, and they began glorifying God, saying, “A great prophet has appeared among us!” and, “God has visited His people!”
17 And this report about Him spread throughout Judea and in all the surrounding region.
