We are Not Ashamed of the Cross of Christ
We preach Christ crucified and risen. (No weird stuff here - well, it is weird that a person could die and then rise again, but that's what happened! - So we proclaim it!)
Romans 1:16 -

Families Are Always Welcome
We love all kinds of families and welcome all visitors. Bring the little ones, too. Additionally, we present free monthly movies that are usually for all family ages.

Jesus Christ is our Shepherd and King
Everything we do at Highland Park Christian Church is to glorify, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the only begotten Son of God. He is our King, Redeemer, Comforter and the Alpha & the Omega.
John 18:37 -
Therefore Pilate said to Him, “So You are a king?” Jesus answered, “You say correctly that I am a king. For this I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.”

Highland Park Christian Church.
Pastor Harvey Simpson along with his wife Denise have been members of our church for over 25 years. They were married in the actual church building by Denise's father, Bishop William Cruver, in 1991. Harvey has been preaching in the church for years. In 2017, after Bishop Cruver was promoted to glory with Christ, Harvey was selected as Senior pastor and with the help of Denise have kept the day to day operations of the church continuing.
Come experience first-hand the warm congregation (we are small, but friendly), the traditional hymns and contemporary worship mix and biblical preaching that inspires you for the rest of the week.

We are pretty easy to find on Figueroa St. - Just north of Sycamore Grove Park.

We are located in Highland Park, Ca, right off of the 110 Parkway (used to be freeway), between Avenue 43 and Avenue 52 off ramps.
From the North.
Head south on the 110 Parkway, exit Avenue 52.
Turn Right - Take Avenue 52 (west)
Turn Left - Take North Figueroa St. (south)
The church is about 1/2 mile down the street on the left (corner of Echo St. and Figueroa) just north of Sycamore Grove Park.
(If you pass the park, you went too far.)
From the South.
Head north on the 110 Parkway, exit Avenue 52.

(We recommend you do NOT exit Avenue 43 - as it is a VERY tight turn and you have to decelerate to 5 mph. - it’s not very safe.)
