Another week outdoors worshiping Christ.
The Final Week of 2020 and the final Sunday.
We wrapped up the year with the presentation of Jesus in the Temple.
A lot of craziness in 2020, but NONE of it surprised God!
We need to draw closer to Him daily and share that joy with others.
We prefer worshiping and praying in person, but...we get it, really. Some folks are still cautious about meeting in person. So If you would like prayer for yourself, family, etc., either place it the comments below or if you want to keep it private, send us a Facebook message and ONLY the 2 admins at Highland Park Christian Church will see the request and then share the request as an "unspoken" request for all to pray over.
We continue we continue to keep uploading the sermon and providing the YouTube versions of the songs that we sang during worship today. So even if you cannot join us, we'd still like to pray for you.

The wise men from the East visit the Child, Jesus and Joseph and Mary flee to Egypt.
We have great YouTube versions of Christian Hymns and contemporary songs that we sang today...
Finally, Pastor Harvey blessed us with a message about Jesus being presented in the Temple.
We hope this continues to bless YOU and draws you closer to God.

Ray - Pray for his family to attend church with him and for his surgery that was successful and his
full recovery.
Margarito - Couldn't make church as he is quarantining himself since he know he was exposed
to COVID-19. He is getting tested tomorrow. Please pray for him.
Denise - Marilyn's brother Jim
Georgia's Aunt Bonnie passed away this week, please pray for her family, especially her
husband Rudy.
Georgia also needs prayer for herself as she has had bad leg cramps.
Also, our good friend Don Wyatt, former pastor of Milo Terrace Baptist Church, passed away
this week.
America to visit family during Christmas.
Dino - Thanks to God for keeping us safe and pray for a better 2021.
Marlene - Praise for Dino's family in church.
Pray for the members of Torrance First Baptist Church.
Continue prayer for Tammy who is now home and recovering.
Praise God and is grateful for us still being open.

They had only 7 days to learn, record, and upload their performance (and I had less than 3 weeks to edit everything together). This is last of three quick ("pop-up") projects to finish off 2020. Instrumental accompaniment provided by me - just a simple arrangement representing how I might lead this song with a congregation.
